Call summary
Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, Arts and Humanities Research Council, Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and Medical Research Council in collaboration with the Swiss National Science Foundation invite applications for their partner with researchers in Switzerland call. These support the development of new and existing partnerships between researchers in the UK and Switzerland. Grants are worth up to £25,000 and the project may last for up to one year.
Scientific scope
The grants are for researchers to collaborate with Switzerland-based researchers in their four priority areas which are languages, materials, synthetic biology and life and physical sciences interface.
PI eligibility
Applicants must be currently in receipt of an active UKRI grant for the materials, synthetic biology, or life and physical sciences interface themes. To apply for the language theme applicants must have held an eligible UKRI grant within five years of the application deadline. Principal or co-investigators on an active UKRI research grant, recipients of a research fellowship award from UKRI, and principal or co-investigators on a UKRI funded institute research grant may apply.
