Call summary

CERN (European Organisation for Nuclear Research) invites applications for its senior research fellowships in theoretical and experimental physics. These enable researchers working in theoretical and experimental physics to spend time working in a research group at CERN. Stipends are worth between CHF 7,201 and CHF 8,178 per month for six to 36 months. An installation grant, family, child and infant allowances and travel expenses to and from Geneva may also be attributed, depending on circumstances.

PI eligibility

Applicants must hold a PhD in particle physics or have between four and 10 years of experience following their master’s. They must be nationals of CERN member or associate states, although a limited number of fellowships are also available for nationals of non-member states. Staff members at CERN may not apply.
