Call summary
CERN (European Organisation for Nuclear Research) invites applications for its junior fellowship programme. This enables graduate researchers conducting work in applied sciences, computing and engineering to spend time working in a research group at CERN. Stipends are worth between CHF 5,305 and CHF 6,586 per month for between six and 36 months. Fellowships also provide health insurance coverage, membership to the CERN pension fund, paid leave and, depending on individual circumstances, an installation grant, family allowances and travel expenses.

PI eligibility
Applicants must either hold a BSc or MSc level degree or be about to graduate from a university or higher technical institute. They must have less than four years of relevant experience after obtaining their degree and be nationals of a CERN member state or associated member state. Candidates holding a PhD are not eligible. CERN staff members are also not eligible.
