Call summary
The Science and Technology Facilities Council invites applications for its follow-on funding scheme. This provides financial support at the very early or pre-seed stage of turning research outputs into a commercial proposition. Grants may be worth up to £160,000 each, covering 80 per cent full economic cost for up to 18 months.

PI eligibility
Lead applicants must have previously or currently hold STFC funding from the core science programme and employed at an approved UK HEI, research council institute or independent research organisation. Partners are not permitted, and industry support not required.
