Call summary

Horizon Europe, under Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness, and its digital, industry and space cluster, invites applications for its HORIZON-CL4-2022-SPACE-01 — strategic autonomy in developing, deploying and using global space-based infrastructures, services, applications and data call. This supports projects that set out a credible pathway to contributing to the goal of open strategic autonomy in developing, deploying and using global space-based infrastructures, services, applications and data. The budget is €85.7 million. Grants are worth up to €26m each.

PI eligibility

Depending on the topic, proposals must take the form of coordination and support actions, research and innovation actions, or innovation actions. Coordination and support actions require one or more legal entities established in an EU member state, Horizon Europe associated country or, in exceptional cases, another third country. Research and innovation actions and innovation actions require participation by at least three legal entities; each established in a different EU member state or Horizon Europe associated country.
