Call summary
Wellcome, through the Sanger institute, invites applications for the Sanger excellence fellowships. Fellowships are worth between £32,780 and £41,093 per year for up to three years. The fellowships also includes research consumables of up to £18,000 per annum, dependent on the nature of the project, and a budget of £1,500 per annum for the fellow to attend conferences and training. Fellowships may be taken at full-time, part-time or flexibly.

Applicants must be self-identify as being from a Black heritage background, including a mixed race background such as Black African, Black Caribbean, Black Other or Mixed background and have an undergraduate degree and PhD awarded from UK institutions.
