Call summary
The Carbon Trust, with funding from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, invites applications for its industrial energy efficiency accelerator competition. This supports partnerships between developers of energy efficient technologies and industrial companies willing to test technologies onsite. A total budget of £8 million is available, primarily for funding demonstration projects. Projects receive between 40 and 60 per cent of the total cost, with IEEA contributions typically between £150,000 and £1m per project.

PI eligibility
To lead an application an organisation must be a registered company, research organisation, or academic institution. To be eligible the demonstration must be installed at an eligible industrial process at a UK industrial site. The industrial company that owns or runs the site must be either the lead applicant or a consortium partner.
