Call summary

The Partnership for Advanced Computing in Europe, in collaboration with Compute/Calcul Canada, the Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment and the RIKEN Advanced Insti­tute for Computational Science, invite applications for their international summer school on high performance computing challenges in computational sciences. This enables students and researchers to participate in high performance computing training in Athens, Greece from 19 to 24 June 2022. Funding covers all expenses of the programme.

Scientific scope

The school offers instructions and mentoring on various topics, including: •HPC and big data challenges in major scientific disciplines; •HPC programming proficiencies; •performance analysis and profiling; •software engineering; •numerical libraries; •big data analysis and analytics; •deep learning; •scientific visualisation;

PI eligibility

Graduate students and postdoctoral scholars, who use advanced computing in their research, from institutions in Canada, Europe, Japan and the US may apply. Students from under-represented groups in computing are highly encouraged to apply.
