Call summary
Innovate UK, through the driving the electric revolution challenge, invites applications for its power electronic, machines and drives (PEMD) skills hub call. This provides funding to establish a power electronics, machines and drives skills hub. The aim is to establish the hub as a lasting platform that will connect training and education course providers with employers and learners. Grants are worth up to £1 million for up to three years. If the majority of the organisation’s work on the project is commercial or economic, the funding requested must not exceed up to 70 per cent of eligible project costs. Research organisations undertaking non-economic activity as part of the project can share up to 100 per cent of the total eligible project costs.

PI eligibility
The lead organisation must be a UK registered business of any size, research organisation, research and technology organisation, academic institution, charity, not-for-profit, or public sector organisation. The lead organisation must carry out its project work in the UK and intend to exploit the results in the UK. To collaborate with the lead, your organisation must be a UK registered business of any size, research organisation, research and technology organisation, academic institution, charity, not-for-profit or public sector organisation.
