Call summary
The Academy of Medical Sciences, the Medical Research Council, the Royal Society and the Royal Academy of Engineering invite applications for their SUSTAIN pilot programme. This enables female researchers to thrive in their independent research careers by providing interactive career development workshops, a peer support network and one-to-one mentoring. Due to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the funders have taken the decision to launch the programme virtually for this round. A total of 24 places are available. In-person events and training will be available when it is safe to do so.

PI eligibility
Female scientists and engineers may apply. They must hold a qualifying award from one of the funding organisations. Applicants must also be available to participate in the workshops.
