Call summary
The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) invites applications for its mid-range equipment grants for biosciences research call. This supports advanced research equipment and development within biosciences research. The total budget is £10 million. Grants are worth between £200,000 and £1m for up to one year.
Scientific scope
Biological Sciences; Biotechnology. For this call it is encouraged to apply for:
•equipment that is widely used and underpins capability across all scientific areas within BBSRC remit;
•the use of emerging advanced research technology or utilisation of equipment in new ways of working;
•the promotion of collaboration and equipment access between users within industry, public sector and other institutes.
PI eligibility
Researchers from an eligible UK research organisation may apply. PIs can only lead on one application.
