Innovate UK: Supporting the development, deployment, operation and decommissioning of advanced nuclear technologies

Innovate UK, the Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy and the National Nuclear Laboratory, through Game Changers and the Knowledge transfer networks, invites proposals for their supporting the development, deployment, operation and decommissioning of advanced nuclear technologies call. This supports innovative approaches to overcome barriers to the adoption of industry 4.0 technologies in the nuclear sector. Grants are worth up to £25,000.

Technologies includes but are not limited to the following topics: •digital twins and smart sensor networks; •collaboration and security of digital assets; •cloud technologies and large-scale computing; •artificial intelligence and high-fidelity computer simulation.
