Call summary
The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), as part of the Partnering Awards programme, invites applications for its partner with New ZealandUS/Taiwan/Japan/China/Canada/Brazil/India/Australia/European bioscience laboratories call. This aims to develop links with laboratories in New ZealandUS/Taiwan/Japan/China/Canada/Brazil/India/Australia/European. Applications are particularly welcomed in the area of international partnerships focusing on the net zero carbon emissions target, through a sustainable, resilient and bio-diverse agri-food system. Funding may be used for the following collaborative activities in emerging areas of science relevant to BBSRC’s strategic priorities. Funding worth up to £50,000 for up to four years for the UK partners.

PI eligibility
Applications must be made by a PI who is currently in receipt of BBSRC research funding. In addition, the associated BBSRC grant must have started before the application deadline and must have at least six months remaining from the start of the award. Applications by consortia of UK partners, which could include industrial and non-BBSRC funded partners, are encouraged. Projects involving early career researchers and technicians are also encouraged.
