Call summary
The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and the National Quantum Computing Centre invites applications for the quantum technology career development fellowships. This enables those in postdoctoral positions to transition towards leading an independent research group within the field of quantum technology. The proposal must be at least 50 per cent within EPSRC’s remit and can cover any aspect of quantum technology research. The total budget is £13 million. There is no limit on how much funding can be applied for and funding may last between tree to five years.

PI eligibility
Applicants must be hosted by an eligible UK research organisation and be a PhD or have at least four years’ experience in a relevant field. Applicants who have taken a non-standard career path after their first degree are encouraged to apply.
