Call summary
The Institute is typically looking to receive proposals costed between £100k and £300k, given the timeframe and requirement that funding be directed towards strategic activities driving us towards Turing 2.0, however, proposals at all levels of funding are welcome. Awards would need to be spent in this financial year (i.e. by 31 March 2022).
Scientific scope
The Institute are particularly looking for submissions that drive the Institute towards Turing 2.0 and UKRI’s emerging National AI programme.
PI eligibility
Internal selection will be made between 1-3 September 2021, with successful stage one applicants notified on Friday 3 September. The selected two lead applicants would need to submit full proposals with outline finance plans, with the University of Cambridge as lead, to the Alan Turing Institute by midday Wednesday 8 September.
