Scientific scope
The International Astronomical Union’s Office of Astronomy for Development invites proposals for its call for projects. This funds projects that use astronomy as a tool to address an issue related to sustainable development. Proposals that relate to one of the following two flagship themes are particularly encouraged:
•sustainable, local socio-economic development through astronomy;
•science diplomacy through astronomy – celebrating our common humanity.
PI eligibility
Applicants may be from any university.
