Call summary
The UK Manufacturing Symbiosis NetworkPlus, supported by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, invites applications for its call for sectoral-bridging studies. The total budget is £420,000 for projects lasting up to 16 months. Funding is provided at 80 per cent full economic cost and covers academic salary costs.
Scientific scope
Funding is available for up to four projects in the following areas:
•two studies in the area of restorative or regenerative business models – worth up to £80,000 per project;
•a study in the area of digital technologies and systems – worth up to £130,000;
•a study in the area of materials science and engineering – worth up to £130,000.
PI eligibility
Academic research teams led by UK universities may apply. Projects can involve more than one institution or organisation, including businesses. Applicants must be eligible to receive EPSRC funding.
