Innovate UK: Transitioning towards zero emission vehicles – feasibility studies

Innovate UK, on behalf of Office Zero Emission Vehicles, invites applications for its transitioning towards zero emission vehicles – feasibility studies. Grants are worth between £300,000 and £600,000 over eight months, to cover up to 70 per cent of total project costs.

Solutions must address one or more of the following challenges: •improve zero emission vehicle range capability; •increase adoption of small commercial zero emission vehicles; •support transition to zero emission for special use vehicles; •improve zero emission vehicle user experience; •improve sustainability of zero emission vehicles.

UK registered businesses of any size may apply. Participating organisations must be a UK registered business, academic institution, charity, non-for-profit, public sector organisation, or research and technology organisation. Consortia may consist of a maximum of three organisations, including the lead applicant. Project work must be carried out in the UK and the applicant must intend to exploit the results from or in the UK. Subcontractors can be from anywhere in the UK or European economic area.
