Call summary
EUREKA invites proposals for its Celtic-Next call. This supports bottom-up projects concerning the societal trends and needs, commercial opportunities and technological challenges in our global society. Funding varies according to national funding rules and research priorities, but typically ranges from €1 million to over €70 million. Projects may last between 24 and 36 months.
Scientific scope
Projects may cover a broad range of areas within the field of telecommunications and ICT, but projects should focus on applications and services serving vertical sectors such as:
•content – video and gaming;
•e-health;
•smart cities;
•agriculture;
•mobility;
•energy;
•automotive;
•e-commerce;
•industry and manufacturing.
PI eligibility
Each project must involve at least two partners from two different EUREKA countries, of which one must be a EUREKA member country and one either a EUREKA member country or a EUREKA associated country. Applications are open to large industries as well as SMEs, universities and research organisations. Companies outside EUREKA countries may also apply.
