Scientific scope
Medicine & Health; Biotechnology; Medical Education; Health Geography; Medical Sociology; Public Health & Medical Law; Philosophy of Medicine; Health Education; History of Medicine; Biological & Medical Anthropology
PI eligibility
Applicants must have a permanent, open-ended or long-term rolling contract, or a guarantee of one, with an eligible host organisation in the UK, Republic of Ireland or an LMIC, with the exception of India and mainland China. Researchers at any stage of their independent careers may apply. Early-stage researchers need to prove that they can innovate and drive advances in the relevant field of study and demonstrate considerable promise for the future. More established researchers should have achieved more in terms of the originality and impact of their research, and should have an international reputation as a researcher in their field. Joint applications from two researchers whose complementary expertise is essential to deliver their shared vision may also be supported.
