Call summary
The Science and Technology Facilities Council and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council invite proposals for their quantum technologies for fundamental physics call. This aims to demonstrate how the application of quantum technologies will advance the understanding of fundamental physics questions. The call’s fundamental physics remit covers quantum science, astronomy, particle physics, particle astrophysics and nuclear physics. The purpose of this call is to exploit opportunities from projects funded in the first round. The total budget is worth £40 million.

PI eligibility
Interdisciplinary consortia of more than one organisation may apply. Teams must comprise researchers from both fundamental physics and quantum technology communities.
