Call summary

Innovate UK, as part of UK Research and Innovation and through the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund, invites applications for strand 2 of its driving the electric revolution – accelerated supply chain development call. This supports innovation projects that enable the creation, development and scale up of supply chains in power electronics, machines and drives in the UK. The competition consists of two strands that have a combined budget of up to £19 million. The total eligible costs are worth between £1m and £3m per project in strand 1, which must be at least 50 per cent match funded. The total eligible costs are worth between £250,000 and £1m per project in strand 2, which must be at least 50 per cent match funded.

PI eligibility

The lead organisation must be a UK-based business of any size and they must collaborate with other businesses, academic organisations, research and technology organisations, public sector organisations or charities. The lead and at least one other organisation must apply for funding. The project must be carried out in the UK.
