Call summary
The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council invites outline proposals for its research software engineering fellowships. These support individuals who demonstrate leadership and the combined expertise of software engineering along with a solid knowledge of the research environment. In addition to expertise in computational software development and software engineering, fellows will be ambassadors and have the potential to be a future leader. They are expected to promote the widespread use of computation and software best practice to enhance research outcomes and impact.
The total budget is worth up to £4.5 million to support approximately four to eight fellows for a duration of up to five years.
