Call summary

Vinnova, in partnership with Innovair, the Aerospace Technology Institute, Innovate UK and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, through the EUREKA programme, invites proposals for the Sweden-UK joint call for research and development projects in aerospace engineering. This supports joint R&D projects in aerospace engineering that have strong market potential for the UK and Sweden. The total budget is €9.46 million for grants worth up to €860,000 each. Up to £2.25m is provided by the ATI for the UK side and up to SEK 22.5m is provided by Vinnova for the Swedish side. Total project costs, including industrial collaboration, should be between €275,000 and €1.73 million. The proportion of funding provided depends on organisation type. Projects may last for between one and three years.

Scientific scope

R&D projects in aerospace engineering that have strong market potential for the UK and Sweden.

PI eligibility

Consortia must include at least two non-linked businesses, one from each participating nation. No nation must represent more than 70 per cent of the total eligible costs. The lead applicant must be a business, but research institutes, universities, public sector and other organisations are welcome as additional participants or subcontractors.
