Call summary
The US Department of Defense invites letters of intent for its high enthalpy aperture technology call. This supports research in the area of high performance radio frequency (RF) and infrared (IR) aperture materials for high enthalpy, high dynamic pressure applications. The aim is to demonstrate new material approaches and solutions for RF and IR apertures on hypersonic platforms. Multiple awards are anticipated. The level of funding for individual awards will depend on the quality of the proposals received and the availability of funds. The maximum project length is four years.
