Call summary
The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council invites expressions of interest for its prosperity partnerships. These enable existing, strategic, research-based partnerships between businesses and universities to undertake the co-creation of large-scale, long-term and user-inspired basic research programmes at technology readiness levels 1 to 3. The total budget is worth £20 million to support four to eight programmes. The funded value will be 80 per cent of the full economic cost. Business and university applicants are required to commit substantial cash contribution.

PI eligibility
Consortia may be formed of multiple businesses and universities, but an existing strategic relationship must be in place between the lead business and university partners. The involvement of SMEs and supply chain companies is encouraged where appropriate. Applications must be led by a business partner. Universities may be involved in more than one bid.
