Call summary
The Trust prefers to provide grants that are significant in the context of the project and are 'one-off' for that particular project. One of the Trust's primary goals is to develop young or newly-established researchers, and to help them to generate data for more substantial bids to larger grant-giving bodies. Grants are usually in the range of £10,000 up to a maximum of £250,000.
Scientific scope
The Evelyn Trust is focused on funding medical research projects that have clear clinical impact, that deliver transformational change, or that increase inter-disciplinary working.
PI eligibility
- Clinical research projects – Towards the cost of specific, planned and well managed medical research programmes especially for younger researchers or newly established researchers seeking to obtain their first funding.
- Medical support staff and teams to achieve a step-change in service – Towards the cost of medical/care teams and staff engaged in specific innovative, transformational programmes to provide medical and healthcare support to the public.
