Call summary
The Natural Environment Research Council, as part of UK Research and Innovation, invites applications for its digital solutions programme. This supports the development of a programme that will exploit environmental and other data to create innovative digital services that deliver economic, societal and environmental benefits. Funding consists of strategic research and innovation programme investment of up to £5 million and capital investment of up to £3m over five years, plus environmental data service costs of up to £400,000 per year. During the initial six- to nine-month coping stage, NERC will provide a grant of £20,000 to allow the successful institution, programme leader and team to develop and submit a strategy and plan for the remaining four years.
