Call summary
This supports UK-based development of ground-breaking, chemistry-led innovations, with the aim of promoting technologies that tackle societal challenges, support a sustainable future and drive economic growth. Proposals must have a strong chemistry component and must be relevant to one of the four following competition categories:
Enabling technologies;
Energy;
Environment;
Health.
This exciting event provides a valuable platform for early-stage start-ups, spinouts, and academic entrepreneurs to showcase their innovations and gain exposure that will enhance their visibility and attract potential customers, partners, and investors.
The four winners (one per category), will each receive:
A cash prize of £25,000
Post-event publicity and exposure
Prize money will be paid to the applicant’s business account.

Eligibility Note You are eligible to apply if you are:
UK-based and developing a chemistry-led technology.
A University entrepreneur, research groups or spinout venture.
From a start-up that has raised less than £/€1 million equity funding (excluding grant funding) and have less than 20 employees.
Aligned with one of the four competition categories (Enabling Technologies, Energy, Environment, Health).
