Call summary
The UK Robotics and Autonomous Systems Network and the Hamlyn Centre at Imperial College London invite entries for their surgical robot challenge. This recognises innovative new ideas in surgical robotics across a range of surgical robot platforms.
There is no special focus – the funders are looking for any entries that demonstrate innovation, application and design in how robots can improve procedures leading to quicker recovery, smaller scars, less blood loss, less pain, earlier return to work and less stay in hospital.
