EPSRC: Place based impact acceleration account

The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council invites applications for its place based impact acceleration account. This supports research organisations enabling them to drive impacts from their research portfolio through a wide range of activities. The following two streams are available: There are two funding streams: Stream 1 (for emerging / nascent clusters): ~2-4 awards with max £2.5M per award, over 4 years Stream 2 (for established / mature clusters): ~2-3 awards with max £5M per award, over 4 years. The total budget is £25 million. Grants are worth between £500,000 and £5m. EPSRC will provide 80 per cent of the full economic cost.

Eligibility Note UK higher education institutions, research council institutes, UK Research and Innovation-approved independent research organisations, eligible public sector research establishments and NHS bodies with research capacity may apply. Collaboration with a civic body is mandatory on this opportunity.
