Call summary

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology, through EIT RawMaterials, invites applications for its HEI initiative innovation capacity building for higher education. This supports consortia in building innovation capacity through the integration of deep tech talent-fostering activities, given its importance for the future of innovation in Europe. The application must demonstrate how it aligns with Deep Tech Talent Initiative and contributes to deep tech innovation. A total of 16 grants is available. Grants are worth up to €750,000 million each over 15 months. Up to €350,000 is provided in phase 1 and, if completed satisfactorily, an additional €400,000 is provided in phase 2.

PI eligibility

Applicants must be legal entities based in EU member states, overseas countries and territories, countries associated to Horizon Europe. Public and private enterprises, research institutes, public bodies and intermediary organisations or associations that represent HEIs may participate. Consortia must consist of at least three HEIs from three different countries and at least one HEI must be an existing partner of an EIT knowledge and innovation community.
