Call summary

We are pleased to announce that the SSCP DTP call for PhD applications is now open. Applicants can choose from a number of projects which have been proposed by various Imperial academics and researchers from our partner institutions. The Science and Solutions for a Changing Planet Doctoral Training Partnership (SSCP DTP) is a unique and prestigious doctoral training opportunity, funded by NERC and based at the Grantham Institute. This innovative programme integrates six Host Partners and a number of other private and public sector partners to train and inspire a new generation of environmental experts and leaders to tackle some of the toughest challenges of our time. SSCP DTP studentships are fully funded for a minimum of 3.5 years. They include: Stipend based on RCUK minima (currently £19,668 including London Weighting Allowance for 2022/2023) Home Tuition Fees (£4,596 for 2022/23) Research Costs. PI eligibility

o be classed as a home student, applicants must meet the following criteria: - Be a UK National (meeting residency requirements), or - Have settled status, or - Have pre-settled status (meeting residency requirements), or - Have indefinite leave to remain or enter If a candidate does not meet the criteria above, they would be classified as an International student.
