Call summary
Innovate UK invites applications for its women in innovation awards. These support UK-based female innovators and entrepreneurs in making a significant contribution in the areas of societal, environmental or economic challenges. The total budget is at least £2.5 million. Up to 50 grants, worth £50,000 each for one year, are available. Successful applicants will also receive a package of support tailored to their needs, access to relevant world-leading facilities and equipment, and the chance to meet business mentors and Women in Innovation ambassadors within the Innovate UK network (Forecasted date for next call).

Women founders, co-founders or senior decision makers within a UK registered micro or SME business which has been operating for at least 12 months by the competition closing date from any area of innovation and from any region in the UK may apply. They must be resident in the UK, carry out their project work in the UK and intend to exploit the results from or in the UK.
