Call summary

The Royal Society and the Leverhulme Trust invite applications for their senior research fellowships. These enable researchers to focus on full-time research by relieving them of all their teaching and administrative duties. Candidates may be working in all areas of natural sciences within the society's remit. Fellowships include salary costs and research expenses of up to £2,500 to cover the cost of consumables, equipment and travel. Fellowships are tenable for a period between one academic term and one year.

PI eligibility

Eligibility Note Applicants must have a PhD or equivalent and hold a permanent post at a UK university or eligible non-profit institution. They must be at a stage in their career where they would particularly benefit from a period of full-time research.
