Call summary
The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council invites applications for its bioinformatics and biological resources fund. This facilitates the establishment, maintenance and enhancement of bioinformatics and biological resources to support the UK bioscience research community. The council aims to ensure that the UK bioscience community has access to state-of-the-art bioinformatics and biological infrastructure, facilities and resources, in order to facilitate ground-breaking research in an internationally competitive environment. The total budget is £6 million. Grants are awarded at 80 per cent full economic cost for projects worth up to £2m. Projects may last up to five years.
