Call summary

Internal funding is available from the Research Strategy Office to support the development of the University’s REF impact submission. It is expected that successful applications will fund impact activities that may feed into potential impact case studies only where no other monies are available. The focus on the REF Impact Fund this year is Impact Evaluation and Monitoring in order to ensure evidence of impact is comprehensive and compelling for the next REF submission.  Applications are welcome from individuals and (cross) departments/faculties/schools. The amount of funding requested is expected to vary significantly across applications, and all applications should be proportionate to the size of your project and/or area of influence.

Scientific scope

What activities can be funded?  Examples may include (but are not restricted to): - Support for gathering feedback from public engagement activities - Economic health monitoring - Surveying/engaging with research users to evaluate impact - Independent evaluation of impacts - Resource to collate citations in policy documents.

PI eligibility

Funding is open to researchers employed by the collegiate University. Applications from Early Career Researchers (ECRs) with Principal Investigators (PIs) as co-applicants are encouraged.
