Call summary

The Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory invites applications for the Clay fellowship. This supports innovative astrophysics research conducted while benefiting from full access to the facilities, research staff and resources of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. Fellowships are tenable for five years, including a stipend of USD 76,000 in 2023 with an annual cost-of-living increase, an annual research budget of USD 16,000, funding for health and dental benefits, a one-time relocation allowance, mentorship and academic advising opportunities, and an invitation to deliver the fellowship colloquium.
