Call summary
Horizon Europe: Innovative Europe, under the European Innovation Council, invites applications for its accelerator challenge driven call. This supports start-ups and SMEs in scaling-up high impact innovations with the potential to create new markets or disrupt existing ones in identified areas of strategic relevance. The total budget is €523.5m. Support comes in the form of blended finance with grants worth up to €2.5 million each and investment worth between €500,000 and €15m.
Scientific scope
Funding is available under the following challenges:
•novel biomarker-based assays to guide personalised cancer treatment, with a budget of €65 million;
•aerosol and surface decontamination for pandemic management, with a budget of €65m;
•energy storage, with a budget of €100m;
•New European Bauhaus and Architecture, Engineering and Construction digitalisation for decarbonisation, with a budget of €65m;
•emerging semiconductor or quantum technology components €100m;
•novel technologies for resilient agriculture, with a budget of €65m;
•customer-driven, innovative space technologies and services, with a budget of €65m.
