Call summary

Diamond Light Source invites proposals for beam time – standard, block allocation group and long term access. This provides beam time for individuals and groups conducting research. For this call, only experiments that can be carried out remotely or by mail-in will be accepted. Funding is available for travel and subsistence costs. Access will be free at the point of use for all non-proprietary research.

PI eligibility

PIs must be research fellows or academic staff with an ORCID iD. Scientists and engineers from academia, research councils, charitable institutions and commercial organisations, both UK and international, may apply, however, users outside of the UK and EU are not eligible for financial support.
