Innovate UK: Aerospace Technology Institute programme - strategic programme

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and Innovate UK invite expressions of interest for their strategic programme call under the Aerospace Technology Institute programme. This supports industrial research and research infrastructures to make the UK civil aerospace sector more competitive. Funding is worth up to 60 per cent of total eligible project costs.

Proposals must relate to: •zero-carbon emission aircraft technologies; •ultra-efficient aircraft technologies; •cross-cutting enabling technologies;

For research projects the lead organisation must be a UK registered business of any size. For capital infrastructure projects the lead organisation must be a business of any size, a research and technology organisation, research organisation or academic institution. Lead organisations must carry out the research and projects in the UK and intend to exploit the results from or in the UK. To collaborate with the lead, organisations must be invited by the lead and be one of the following UK registered business of any size, academic institution, charity, not for profit, public sector organisation, or research and technology organisation. They must also carry out its project work in the UK and intend to exploit the results from or in the UK.
