Call summary
The European Institute of Innovation and Technology, through its RawMaterials programme, invites applications for its start-up and SME booster call. This aims to provide established start-ups with support to speed up a technology challenge resulting in a higher TRL, bringing the technology closer to the market and to accelerate market introduction by taking key measures to enable solid entry of a target market. Funding is worth up to €200,000 for up to one year. Participants established in third countries not associated to Horizon Europe may only receive a maximum amount of €60,000.
Scientific scope
The focus of this round is on the following topics:
- exploration and raw materials resources assessment;
- mining in challenging environments;
- increased resource efficiency in mineral and metallurgical processes;
- recycling and material chain optimisation for end-of-life products;
- substitution of critical and toxic materials and for optimised performance;
- design of products and services for the circular economy.
