Call summary

CERN (European Organisation for Nuclear Research) invites applications for its senior applied fellowship programme. This enables researchers working in applied sciences, computing or engineering to spend time working in a research group at CERN. Fellowships provide stipends worth between CHF 7,223 and CHF 8,203 per month for six to 36 months, coverage by the CERN health scheme, membership of the CERN pension fund and, depending on individual circumstances, an installation grant, family allowances, travel expenses and paid leave.

PI eligibility

Applicants must hold a PhD or have between four and 10 years of experience following their MSc. They must be nationals of CERN member or associate member states, although a limited number of fellowships are also available for nationals of non-member states.
