Call summary
The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Counci, lInnovate UK and SETsquared, in partnership withconsortium of partner, invites applications for the innovation to commercialisation of university research (ICURe) programme. The total budget is £420,000. The full economic cost of the project can be up to £25,000. BBSRC will fund 100% of the full economic cost.
Scientific scope
This enables researchers to ‘get out of the lab’ and test their technology in the market to uncover its commercial potential. The aim is to train, fund, and support research teams to determine whether there is a market for products or services that utilise their bioscience-based innovations.
PI eligibility
Applicants must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for BBSRC funding.
