Call summary
The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council invites applications for its global partnering awards. These support the development of long-term collaborations with overseas scientists in countries not currently offered through the council’s existing partnering award schemes. Collaborations may enable activities such as the exchange of scientists, workshops and networking, and access to facilities. Awards are typically worth up to £30,000 each over four years to cover 100 per cent of eligible costs. Funds may be used for travel, subsistence and other activities such as workshops or exchanges.

PI eligibility
BBSRC research grant holders who are in receipt of BBSRC funding may apply. Joint applications by consortia of UK partners, which could include industrial and non-BBSRC funded partners are encouraged.
