PI eligibility
Applicants must hold a PhD or be of equivalent standing in their profession, and have a permanent post in either a UK university, a non-profit research organisation or UK industry. Applicants can be of any nationality and should be at a stage in their career when they would particularly benefit from establishing or strengthening personal and corporate links between the two sectors. The fellowships must involve transfer between UK private industry and a UK university or non-profit research organisation. Applications involving small companies or early-stage companies are encouraged, provided they have a well-established research team and facilities. It is anticipated that the personal and corporate links established by the researcher between the two sectors in the UK will seed longer-term collaborations and contribute to their long-term future development.
