Call summary

The Science and Technology Facilities Council invites proposals for research time at the Liverpool telescope. This enables researchers to apply for time at the Liverpool telescope, a fully robotic facility sited in the Canary Islands, during periods when the telescope sits idle. The aim is to provide a backup programme to fill the telescope queue during instrument downtime or periods of poor weather. PriorityZ time is defined as time when there is no A, B or C-ranked science group available for the scheduling software to pick, which may occur during periods of porr seeing during full moon or times of instrument failure. There are approximately 10-15 hours per month of such time available. Proposals can typically be expected to be approved for a period of two years.
