Call summary
The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council invites applications for its lead energy demand research as the energy demand champion. This supports research leading the next stage of energy demand research in the UK. Grants are worth up to £250,000 for up to 10 months and covering 80 per cent of the full economic cost.
Scientific scope
The research must drive forward UKRI’s investment in energy demand research across the technology and policy landscape.
PI eligibility
UK-based researchers at HEIs, research council institutes, UKRI-approved independent research organisations, public sector research establishments and NHS bodies with research capacity may apply.
