Call summary
Panacea Innovation invites applications for its call Panacea Stars phase 2 – develop. This supports individuals and teams in further developing their companies by testing their scientific proposition, finding a strategic focus and ensuring that their concept addresses the most important market aspects. The winner receives £100,000 which consists of £30,000 in cash and £70,000 in laboratory and office space and services, as well as access to mentors and ongoing support in relation to scientific, business development and legal and investment concerns. The runner-up prizes include laboratory and office use as well as access to mentors and support.

PI eligibility
Applicants must have an early-stage idea supported by preliminary data or a sound proposal and a provisional or under-development business plan. They also must be full-time or part-time founders of a company in a relevant field. Applicants without a team may apply if they have an idea for a business and if they participate in information sessions prior to the application deadline in order to join one. Applicants must be able to participate in business development activities taking place in the UK over eight weeks.
