Call summary

CERN (European Organisation for Nuclear Research) invites applications for its research fellowships in quantum high energy physics. These enable PhD graduates to work on the development of high performance simulation codes for quantum algorithms at CERN, with emphasis on quantum optimisation problems, quantum machine learning, and many-body quantum simulations applied to high energy physics. Stipends are worth between CHF 6,650 and CHF 7,050 per month for up to three years. Fellowships also provide health insurance coverage, membership of the CERN pension fund and, depending on individual circumstances, an installation grant, family allowances, travel expenses and paid leave.
